Queen's Garden by Hanlie

Queen's Garden by Hanlie from South Africa.

The first thing I see from this colourscheme is a lush lily pond - look at these colours! They're so inviting and the use of the blues, teals and greens are just making me swoon - they're perfect for the vibrant pinks that steal the show in this stunning beauty!

Here's what Hanlie has to say about her stunning quilt:
I made the quilt during our stay in Qatar. There is a wonderful Quilt Guild and I also belonged to an expat quilt group...The Doha Divas. 2 of my blocks face the wrong way...but after many times unpicking I left it imperfect. I jumped the gun to finish the quilt end of August.

Hanlie, I love your eye for colour and this quilt is a knockout!

Thanks to Hanlie  for sharing her finished quilt with us all to take inspiration from. If you'd like to see more finished quilts made from any of my patterns, visit my Open Gallery. It's a place for all quilters who make any of my quilts to show off their creations in a central online gallery. It's new and I hope you'll join us by adding your own quilt there. Submitting your quilt pics is easily done via an upload screen directly on my website. Click here now if you'd like to submit your own quilt.
